About us
Philadelphia Smoke is a proud member of Team Boxing League (TBL)—the nation’s first and only professional boxing league built on a true team-based competition model. Rooted in Philadelphia’s rich fight culture, the Smoke represent toughness, discipline, and collective pride inside the ring.
Competing under the Team Boxing League format, Philadelphia Smoke matches deliver 24 rounds of fast-paced, nonstop action. Each bout features one-round matchups across multiple weight classes, with fighters contributing to the team’s overall score rather than competing solely for individual results. This unique structure emphasizes depth, strategy, and teamwork—every round matters.
Philadelphia Smoke field fighters across TBL’s male and female weight divisions, showcasing a diverse and powerful roster prepared to compete at the highest level. With two fighters per weight class appearing in each match, success is driven by preparation, adaptability, and unity from the opening bell to the final round.
Matches unfold in three distinct phases:
Launch Rounds (Rounds 1–8) set the tone
Middle Rounds (Rounds 9–16) test endurance and strategy
Money Rounds (Rounds 17–24) decide the outcome
All rounds are scored individually using Team Boxing League’s exclusive scoring system. A panel of licensed judges awards points each round, with knockdowns and stoppages carrying increased scoring impact. At the end of all 24 rounds, the team with the highest cumulative score earns the victory.
For Philadelphia Smoke, every fighter, every round, and every point counts. United by the city we represent and the league we compete in, we fight as one team—bringing Philadelphia grit to the Team Boxing League stage.
